More New Homes
Since I last updated the Blog on 11th July with our 'new homes' update GAL have gone through a bit of a quiet spell. Last year July was really busy and we hoped for the same this year however it got pretty quiet especially through the Glasgow and Edinburgh trade holidays.
Thats not to say we put our feet up! In the last 6 weeks we've seen 21 dogs go to their new homes and thats a quiet spell!!
DILLON left us on the 13th of July and now lives in Fife with fellow GAL adoptee Bronte, quite a pair! SAM will be celebrating his first birthday next month in his new home in Edinburgh. PRESTON is now resident in Kincardine with another GAL adoptee Libby. SUNDANCE (now called JACK) lives the high life on his roof terrace in Glasgow. COOKIE (Sam's brother) is another recent adpotee who now shares his new home with another GAL adoptee Cleo. ROCKY, after a few initial problems has now settled in Kilbarchan with bothwell rescued Greyhound Abby. TIGER now spends his days in Hamilton, strangely yet another one who's found his forever home with another GAL adoptee Rosie. ALFIE and his badly damaged leg now lives with the GAL secretary Fiona in Lenzie, he's Fiona's fourth resident! TREVOR found a lovely home down in the Scottish borders, he lives not too far away from MEGAN & NELL, these two sisters will be the grand old age of 15 weeks old tomorrow. The lovely JUDY is now called Sally and loves life in her new home in Glasgow. BELLE & BEAU now enjoy each others company in East Kilbride, this brother and sister pair will be 10 months old next month. RORY & SALLY, another brother and sister pair now live in Lochgoilhead, if you think thats far away it's not quite as far as the Isle of Bute where the lovely TAWNY now resides. HOPE now enjoys life in Glasgow, and bringing us right up to date the next 3 dogs all went to their new homes today; CODY made the trip to Perthshire where she'll be sharing her home with yet another GAL adoptee Horse, TYLER went to her new home in Wishaw and JESS found her forever home in Edinburgh. PHEW!!!!..
