The new fireworks legislation came into force in October 2004 and introduced curfews, noise limits and fixed penalty notices. But they haven't stopped dogs dying. Dave, GAL'S hard working Homing Co-Ordinator, presented GAL's homing figures at the AGM last weekend. These figures cover the 12 month period to 31st October 2004. Dave was pretty disappointed at not breaking the 200 hundred barrier this year but promises to try harder in the next 12 months! For that 12 month period GAL rehomed 196 dogs, this consisted of 68 male Greyhounds, 50 female Greyhounds

Have you seen the lovely PIP on our homeless dogs page? What a stunner, he's 4yrs old going on 6 months! Today PIP took to the air (no really he did!) PIP's foster home has a nice big trampoline in their garden and today as the kids were romping around PIP decided to get in on the act, there was nothing stopping the boy as he clambered onto the trampoline no doubt with a few back flips in mind!
